1. About the Platform

SkinsChoice operates an online marketplace that enables users to buy and sell virtual in-game items for supported games including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Rust (the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Conditions d'Utilisation (“Terms”).

SkinsChoice is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam. All in-game items remain subject to Valve’s intellectual property rights and Steam’s terms of service.

SkinsChoice does not provide gambling, betting, or financial investment services.


2. Eligibility

You must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • have a valid Steam account;
  • comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

The Platform is not available in jurisdictions subject to applicable sanctions or legal restrictions. We may restrict access or refuse transactions where required by law.


3. Account Requirements

To trade on the Platform you must:

  • connect a Steam account;
  • provide a valid URL d'échange Steam;
  • maintain a public Steam inventory;
  • complete seller verification (KYC) to sell items.

You are responsible for account security and all activity conducted through your account.


4. Marketplace Transactions

All item transfers occur through Steam’s official trading system.

Once a Steam trade is completed and accepted in Steam, the transaction is final.

SkinsChoice does not guarantee item value, availability, or future pricing.


5. Deposits (Adding Funds)

5.1 Payment Methods

Users may deposit funds using payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by licensed third-party payment service providers (PSPs).

SkinsChoice does not store full card details.

5.2 Deposit Limits

  • Minimum deposit: €5.00
  • Maximum deposit: €3,000 per transaction

Ajouteritional limits may apply depending on the payment method, your verification level (KYC), your jurisdiction, and our risk and compliance controls (including daily and/or monthly limits). Limits may be adjusted from time to time in accordance with compliance and fraud-prevention requirements.

5.3 Payment Processing

Deposit transactions may be subject to authorization, anti-fraud screening, and compliance checks. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card schemes, or payment service providers (PSPs), including temporary holds or reversals initiated by third parties.

If a deposit is reversed, charged back, or otherwise invalidated by a bank/PSP, we may suspend related services, place a hold on your account balance, and/or recover any resulting costs or losses as permitted by law.


6. Wallet Balance (Platform Ledger)

Your “Wallet” or “Balance” is a platform ledger that records the value available to you for purchases on the Platform and, where permitted, for payout requests.

Your Wallet is not a bank account, not a payment account, and does not represent stored value or electronic money issued to you by SkinsChoice. Balances do not accrue interest.

Portefeuille value is usable only within the Platform for marketplace-related purposes. Where payout functionality is available, you may request a payout of eligible amounts subject to these Terms, verification, compliance checks, and PSP technical/regulatory limitations.


7. Vente d'objets

Vendeurs must complete identity verification.

Items remain in the seller’s Steam inventory until a buyer purchases them and the Steam trade is accepted.

Payment is credited to the seller’s Platform wallet after successful trade confirmation.


8. Withdrawals (Payouts)

8.1 Supported Methods

Withdrawals are supported to eligible payment methods displayed on the Platform.

8.2 Withdrawal Limits

  • Minimum withdrawal: €10.00
  • Maximum withdrawal: €9,000 per transaction

8.3 Processing Times

Payout requests are typically processed:

  • instantly or same business day in standard cases;
  • within 1–2 business days normally;
  • up to 3–5 business days in exceptional circumstances.

These timeframes are indicative only and may vary due to compliance checks, PSP/bank processing, weekends/holidays, or technical issues.

8.4 User Responsibility

You must provide accurate payout details and use eligible payout methods available to you on the Platform. We are not liable for failed or misdirected payouts caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.

8.5 Jurisdictional Restrictions

Payouts may be unavailable or limited in certain jurisdictions due to legal, sanctions, or PSP restrictions.

8.6 Execution by PSPs

SkinsChoice facilitates payout requests but does not itself execute bank transfers or card payouts. Payouts are processed by authorized PSPs and may be subject to their rules, compliance requirements, and technical limitations. We are not responsible for delays or failures occurring after a payout request has been submitted to a PSP, except to the extent required by law.

8.7 Declined or Reversed Payouts

A payout may be declined, placed on hold, reversed, or cancelled due to:

  • incomplete/failed verification (KYC);
  • compliance or fraud concerns;
  • unsupported or incorrect payout details;
  • insufficient eligible balance;
  • chargeback or reversal risk;
  • PSP/bank limitations or restrictions.

8.8 Holds and Compliance Review

We may place temporary holds on payouts or balances while we conduct verification, AML/sanctions screening, fraud checks, or investigate disputes/chargebacks.

8.9 Fees and Deductions

Any applicable Platform fees will be shown before you confirm a payout request. Third-party fees (including PSP, bank, intermediary, FX, or card-scheme fees) may be deducted or applied outside our control.

8.10 Chargebacks and Negative Balance

If a payment is charged back, reversed, or otherwise invalidated, we may deduct the corresponding amount from your Wallet and/or restrict your account. If your Wallet becomes negative, you agree to reimburse us for the deficit and any reasonable chargeback-related costs, where permitted by law.


9. Fees

Any applicable fees are displayed before confirmation.

External bank or PSP fees are outside SkinsChoice’s control.


10. Refunds

Due to the digital and instant nature of item transfers via Steam, completed trades are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where a confirmed technical error attributable to the Platform prevented delivery.
Refund eligibility for deposits, unused balances, or other paid services may be governed by our Politique de Remboursement, which forms part of these Terms.
Users must report issues promptly and provide relevant transaction details to allow investigation.


11. Disputes

If you believe a payment, trade, or payout is incorrect, you must contact Support as soon as reasonably possible and provide transaction references and any relevant information.

Platform logs, internal records, and confirmations received from PSPs (and, where applicable, Steam trade confirmations) may be used to investigate and resolve disputes. Where a dispute relates to Steam’s systems (including trade holds or account restrictions), resolution may depend on Steam/Valve processes outside our control.


12. KYC and Compliance

SkinsChoice may require identity verification and additional documentation to comply with anti-money laundering and fraud prevention requirements.

Accounts may be restricted during review.


13. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in fraud, money laundering, unauthorized automation, or illegal activity.

Violations may result in suspension or termination.


14. Intellectual Property

All Platform content belongs to SkinsChoice or its licensors.

Jeu assets remain property of their respective owners.


15. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided “as is.” SkinsChoice does not guarantee uninterrupted service or third-party system availability.


16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinsChoice’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amount involved in the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

Nonthing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including (where applicable) liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We are not liable for losses caused by third-party systems outside our reasonable control, including Steam/Valve services, banks, or PSPs, except to the extent required by law.


17. Suspension and Termination

Accounts may be suspended for fraud, abuse, or legal compliance reasons.


18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.


19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
